About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet is supplied with a usable width of 148 cm and a substantial 405 gsm weight, making it well suited to upholstery. With no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, the focus stays on the colour and the plush texture rather than a motif. The tone is a concentrated red-orange, with darker shading where the pile falls and a slightly brighter glow where the light catches it. At 102 threads per cm, the cloth has a refined, tightly made feel that suits tailored furniture and padded pieces.

How to use it

Use this chilli red velvet on an occasional chair, ottoman, or headboard where its warmth can become the room’s focal point. It pairs especially well with walnut timber, brass details, and deep neutrals that let the colour stay rich and dramatic.
