About this fabric

This fabric from Sanderson’s Country House Fabrics collection has a usable width of 134.5 cm and a substantial weight of 416 gsm, giving it the body expected of a confident upholstery fabric. The design shows a densely worked trailing floral pattern, with scrolling stems and large blossoms picked out in cool teal, pale cream and muted gold against the saturated red ground. The weave reads with a softly brushed, velvety surface that deepens the ruby tone and helps the lighter outlines stand out clearly. A 91 cm vertical repeat and full-width 134.5 cm horizontal repeat make the pattern feel expansive and decorative rather than small-scaled. Threads per cm are 57.7, adding to the close, polished look of the cloth.
