About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is supplied as a 137 cm usable width fabric with a 60 m standard length, a 300 gsm weight and 19.5 threads per cm. The surface in this colourway feels warm and painterly: a dusty russet coral background sets off the scrolling flowers, leaves and stems in pale flint, sage and muted blush. The 86 cm vertical repeat and full-width 137 cm horizontal repeat create a broad, statement pattern that suits larger pieces and framed upholstery panels. Although no performance features are noted, the substantial weight gives the cloth a grounded, upholstery-friendly presence.

How to use it

Use Shalimar Russet/Flint on an armchair, bench or cushions where the soft coral-russet ground can bring warmth without looking bright. It pairs well with linen, weathered timber and muted green accents, letting the flint-toned print stay crisp.

Pair with pale oak and chalky neutrals to keep the warm russet ground feeling fresh.
