About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is a substantial 300gsm textile with a usable width of 138 cm and a bold pattern repeat of 89 cm vertical by 92 cm horizontal, so the motif has plenty of room to breathe across larger pieces. In this colourway, the palette reads cool and airy overall, with washed indigo and powder blue shapes balanced by small ruby and plum accents that stop the design feeling overly pale. The surface appears matte and woven rather than glossy, which suits the softly painted petals, leaves and seed-head forms visible in the print. It feels confident and decorative, but the cream background keeps the botanical motif light enough for everyday interior use.

How to use it

Use this colourway on relaxed armchairs, window seats or cushions where the blue-and-ruby palette can echo both painted woodwork and natural timbers. It also works well in a room with warm neutrals, letting the cooler indigo notes sharpen the overall scheme.
