Sessile Plain Indigo

Arboretum Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0185-04

Sessile Plain Indigo reads as a softly weathered blue-grey field rather than a solid block of colour. The close view reveals a minute, even stipple that gives the pale shade quiet surface movement.

About this fabric

Seen close up, the surface is formed from fine, tightly packed pebble-like marks, creating a subtly tactile appearance across the plain ground. The colour sits between pale indigo blue and blue-grey, with a faint cool aqua cast; it stays light rather than saturated. At 150 gsm, this wallpaper is specified at a 52 cm usable width and a 10.05 m standard length. With 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats, the surface has no repeating motif to align.

How to use it

Use this cool, pale indigo in bedrooms, bathrooms or north-facing rooms where its blue-grey clarity can soften the walls without becoming dominant. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal to echo the wallpaper’s restrained, lightly textured character.

A cool, pale-blue ground with delicate stippled texture for calm, lightly layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
