About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet from the Caspian Prints & Embroideries collection is a substantial 416gsm textile with a usable width of 133 cm and a standard length of 60 m. The pattern repeat is 44.5 cm vertically and full width horizontally, and the large-scale botanical layout reads crisply across the cloth. In this colourway, the blue-green ground feels saturated and moody, while the fruit and leaf details bring in turmeric, orange and red accents with a bright, decorative energy. The visible velvet surface softens the print slightly and adds depth, making the overall effect richly layered rather than flat.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or headboard where the dark teal ground can anchor the room and the warm fruit colours can act as a focal point. It also works well with walnut wood, antique brass and plain linens in cream or tobacco tones.

The rich teal ground lets the warm fruit motifs glow with jewel-like contrast.
