About this fabric

This Larsen Alta fabric has a calm, solid appearance with no visible repeat, making the colour and texture the focus of the design. The cloth is composed of 32% Virgin Wool, 31% Polyacrylic, 28% Cotton and 9% Polyester, and it comes in an approximate width of 137cm. Its close, softly granular weave gives the surface depth without shine, so the navy tone feels rich rather than bright. Because the shade is so deep and restrained, it works especially well where you want a refined dark anchor with a textile hand. Performance features are not noted, so it is best considered for classic upholstered applications where the fabric’s wool-rich body can be appreciated.

How to use it

Use Gila Ocean on an occasional chair, banquette or headboard to add a crisp, moody edge to a room. It pairs neatly with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metal finishes, where its cool navy depth reads clean and tailored.
