About this fabric

This Alta fabric from Larsen is a 142cm-wide textile with no repeat, making the small-scale surface texture feel calm and continuous across a scheme. Its blend of 34% viscose, 33% acrylic, 17% wool, 8% polyester, 4% linen and 4% cotton gives the swatch a dry, tactile handle that suits relaxed seating or softer interior layers. The visible colour sits between golden ochre and muted mustard, with a muted brightness rather than a glossy yellow. The fine speckling across the ground adds depth and stops the shade from reading flat. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code K are also supplied for this specific fabric.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, bench seat or cushions where the saffron tone can warm stone, oak and deeper walnut finishes. It also works well against chalky neutrals, where the speckled gold colour can provide a gentle focal point.

A warm saffron tone with a subtle nubby surface that feels refined rather than flashy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
