Cosimo Gold

Baya FabricL9387-02

Cosimo Gold shows a delicate trailing botanical pattern picked out in a soft antique-gold tone over a pale ground. The effect is airy and elegant, with the leaf shapes sitting lightly rather than reading as heavy or dense.

About this fabric

From Larsen’s Baya collection, Cosimo Gold is a textile fabric woven in 40% wool, 38% viscose and 22% polyester, with an approximate width of 138cm and a large repeat of V 77cm / H 69cm. The motif is a fine branching leaf design, and in this colourway the gold reads warm, muted and slightly parchment-like rather than brash or metallic. The surface appears softly textured and gently luminous, which helps the pattern stand out while still feeling refined. It is a versatile cloth that can work on upholstery or drapery where a decorative botanical is wanted without too much visual weight.

How to use it

Use Cosimo Gold with oak, limestone and warm white finishes to keep the scheme light but still rich. It also works well as a statement blind or accent chair fabric where the soft gold leaf pattern can catch natural light.

Pairs neatly with warm neutrals and mellow woods for a quietly polished scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
