Filao Spice

Baya FabricL9394-02

Filao Spice brings the Baya pattern to life in a soft, warm spice pink with earthy beige and muted rose striping. The layered leaf-like forms feel calm and decorative, with the lurex catching the light very subtly.

About this fabric

Filao Spice from Larsen’s Baya collection is a 124cm-wide fabric composed of 64% viscose, 21% linen, 11% polyester and 4% lurex. The ground reads as a creamy beige warmed by terracotta-pink threads, while the larger leaf shapes create a gentle, rhythmic geometric look across the surface. Fine horizontal striping gives the cloth a woven, lightly textured appearance, and the metallic content adds just a trace of soft shimmer rather than a high shine. With its Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire rating, it suits considered interior schemes where pattern and tone need to feel polished but not overdone.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring warmth to pale oak, plaster pink or stone-toned interiors, especially on sofas, occasional chairs or relaxed curtains. Its muted spice palette works well where you want pattern with a softer, more natural finish.

A warm, textural neutral with a subtle blush edge that lifts both tailored upholstery and elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Filao Spice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
