Arizona Spice

Arizona FabricL9351-06

Arizona Spice reads as a rich, earthy terracotta with a softly mottled surface and a matte, slightly nubbly handle. Its tone feels warm and grounded, with the tiny speckled texture giving the colour extra depth in the light.

About this fabric

Arizona Spice from Larsen's Arizona collection is a plain fabric with no visible repeat, so the colour and texture take centre stage. The 129cm approximate width and composition of 50% cotton, 43% viscose, 4% linen and 3% polyester point to a versatile cloth with a natural-looking body and a refined finish. Visually, this colourway sits in a deep burnt terracotta range, blending spice, clay and a little smoked rust rather than reading as a bright orange. The surface appears tightly woven and subtly flecked, which softens the shade and keeps it from feeling flat. With its √CM fire code and balanced composition, it is well suited to upholstery or relaxed drapery where a warm, grounded colour is wanted.

How to use it

Use it to warm up neutral upholstery, walnut wood and aged brass, where the terracotta depth will bring a tailored but welcoming feel. It also works well in layered schemes with plaster pinks, taupe and olive for a richer, autumnal palette.

A warm earthy tone that works neatly across seating and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
