Montana Clay

Arizona FabricL9352-02

Montana Clay is a softly variegated beige with a warm clay undertone and a fine, horizontal slub texture. The surface reads calm and matte, with just enough movement to stop the colourway from feeling flat.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted clay-beige ground, lifted by the dry, slightly irregular texture of the weave. With a width of 138cm approx and a composition of 48% viscose, 45% cotton and 7% linen, it has the look of a natural, softly handled textile rather than a glossy finish. The fabric is shown as a plain design with no repeat, making the subtle surface texture the main feature. Its warm neutral tone feels earthy and understated, with a gentle depth that catches light in fine, linear ripples.

How to use it

Use Montana Clay where you want a soft neutral that still has texture, especially on tailored upholstery, headboards or relaxed drapery. Its warm beige-clay note pairs easily with oak, chalk white and deeper terracotta accents.

A quietly textured neutral that softens both tailored upholstery and simple curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
