Baya White

Baya FabricL9395-01

Baya White combines a warm ivory ground with a softly gleaming golden outline, giving the design a light yet defined presence. The irregular, map-like pattern feels crisp against the pale base, with the woven texture visible beneath.

About this fabric

Woven in 80% Linen and 20% Acrylic, Baya White has the natural character of linen with a little added stability from the acrylic content. The fabric is approximately 128cm wide, with a repeat of V 79cm / H 64cm approx, so the flowing motif has room to read clearly across a larger scale. In this colourway, the ground is a creamy ivory rather than a stark white, which keeps the overall effect warm and relaxed while the raised ochre-gold outlines bring definition. The surface looks lightly textural and tailored, making the pattern feel graphic without becoming harsh. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Baya White suits pale upholstery, cushions or relaxed drapery where you want the gold-edged pattern to add movement without darkening the room. It works especially well with oak, brushed brass and soft neutral paints.

Use this warm ivory ground to soften the golden outline pattern in tailored rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
