Allegra Burnt

Allegra FabricHAF0576-09

Allegra Burnt has a warm, earthy terracotta tone with the depth of softened brick rather than a bright orange-red. Its close, even surface weave gives the colour a quiet tonal texture as the light moves across the swatch.

About this fabric

This substantial woven fabric weighs 387 gsm and has a fine, closely set construction of 27.6 threads per centimetre. The surface visible here is uniform and pattern-free, with tiny woven variations adding depth to the burnt terracotta shade without creating a repeat or motif. At 143 cm usable width, it is well suited to upholstering chairs, headboards and larger seating forms where a grounded, enveloping colour is wanted. The 0 cm horizontal and vertical pattern repeats make cutting straightforward across the plain surface.

How to use it

Use Allegra Burnt to upholster a reading chair, bench or sofa where its warm clay-red tone can anchor cream, walnut and aged-brass details. It also works well as a confident accent against softer sand and chalk neutrals.

A dense burnt-terracotta woven cloth that brings warmth and understated colour to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
