Jess FR Terracotta

Upholstery Fabric

Jess FR Terracotta pairs a warm rust-toned leaf pattern with a softly textured beige ground for a look that feels earthy and inviting. The botanical repeat reads clearly across the surface, giving the fabric plenty of movement without feeling busy.

About this fabric

This upholstery fabric is made from 15% cotton and 85% polyester, and it is supplied at a 140cm width with a 65cm vertical and 35cm horizontal pattern repeat. In this colourway, the leaf motif appears in a rich terracotta-rust that sits warmly against the lighter woven ground, so the design has depth without becoming dark. The texture visible in the image looks lightly slubbed and practical rather than slick, which suits the upholstery classification. The 1<NQT care instruction also indicates a surface that should be handled with some care rather than treated as an all-purpose wipe-clean cloth.

How to use it

Terracotta is especially effective on an accent chair, bench, or occasional cushions where the warm leaf pattern can bring energy to a neutral scheme. Pair it with oatmeal, tan leather, and aged brass for a grounded, autumnal finish.

Use with warm woods and textured neutrals to let the rust pattern stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
