Bjorn Rust

Soren Fabric FabricCCF0659-06

Bjorn Rust brings a warm, earthy rust tone to the Soren Fabric collection, textured with fine cream chevron-like marks. Its softly mottled surface gives the colourway depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

At 411 gsm, Bjorn Rust has the substantial look and feel of a hardwearing woven upholstery cloth. The rust ground shifts subtly between terracotta and deeper burnt-orange tones, while small cream herringbone marks create a broken, tactile pattern across the surface. The design has a 60 cm vertical repeat and 35 cm horizontal repeat, giving the irregular chevron texture a considered rhythm when upholstered. It is supplied at a 138 cm usable width, with a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Use Bjorn Rust on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm terracotta depth can sit against dark wood, aged brass and quieter cream textiles. The cream flecks also make it easy to connect with natural linen and lightly patterned accessories.

Pair the warm rust ground with aged timber, natural leather and soft cream upholstery for a grounded, textural scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
