About this fabric

This heavy 546 gsm textile has a usable width of 139 cm and a standard length of 30 m, making it particularly well suited to upholstery. The design is built from irregular horizontal bands, with a recorded vertical repeat of 20.7 cm and no horizontal repeat. In this colourway, deep plum and berry stripes provide contrast against the pale cream ground, while blush and muted gold threads soften the overall effect. Close up, the woven surface reads as tactile and finely flecked rather than flat, with the darker bands catching the eye in broken, subtly varied lines.

How to use it

Use Elias Summer on a statement armchair, dining seat or tailored sofa where its cream base can brighten the scheme while the plum and berry stripes add restrained warmth. Pair it with natural timber, aged brass and muted blush or warm beige textiles to draw out its softer woven tones.
