About this fabric

This substantial 612gsm upholstery fabric has a visible woven texture that gently softens the contrast between its rust, cream and taupe geometric pieces. The warm terracotta areas read as muted rather than bright, while the pale shapes lift the overall design and add a lightly weathered feel. With a 51.5cm vertical repeat and 33.5cm horizontal repeat, the irregular block-like motifs create a lively but controlled pattern across upholstered surfaces. The fabric has a usable width of 139cm and a standard length of 30m.

How to use it

Use Espen Rust on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its warm terracotta tone can sit with oatmeal, ivory and natural timber. Repeat the rust notes in cushions or ceramics while keeping surrounding textiles quiet to show the geometric weave clearly.

Use this warm rust geometric weave to bring depth to occasional chairs, sofas and headboards alongside chalky neutrals or dark timber.
