About this fabric

The russet terracotta tone reads earthy and enveloping, with subtle tonal variation catching across the fine, closely woven texture rather than a clearly visible printed motif. At 271gsm and 137cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The supplied specification lists a 36.5cm vertical repeat and 34.5cm horizontal repeat, while the photographed surface appears almost uninterrupted at close range. Its standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Pair Spectrum Spice with warm oak, aged brass and creamy neutrals to bring out its earthy red-brown depth. It can give a chair or sofa a softly cocooning finish, or add controlled warmth through full-length curtains.

Use this warm russet terracotta as an enveloping upholstery or softly coordinated drapery colour.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
