Spectrum Mocha

Spectrum FabricCCF0227-23

Spectrum Mocha is a softly shaded taupe-brown textile with a close, rippled weave that gives the otherwise restrained surface gentle movement. Its low-contrast patterning reads as texture rather than a bold motif.

About this fabric

The colour sits between warm taupe and muted mocha brown, with a softened grey cast that keeps it from appearing overly rich or red. Fine tonal undulations are visible across the face, creating a lightly granular surface that changes subtly as the light moves over it. With a usable width of 137 cm and a weight of 271 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight for both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 36.5 cm vertical repeat and a 34.5 cm horizontal repeat, although the close colour relationship keeps the repeat visually discreet.

How to use it

Use Spectrum Mocha on a relaxed sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain where its warm taupe depth can sit comfortably with timber, stone and soft cream furnishings. Its understated tonal repeat also works well when a room needs texture without introducing a strong contrast.

The warm mocha-taupe tone and finely rippled surface bring quiet depth to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
