Spectrum Kingfisher is a cool, blue-green teal textile with a softly rippled woven surface. Its restrained colour and barely-there texture create depth without a strong graphic statement.

About this fabric

The close view shows a muted kingfisher teal ground with fine, closely worked texture that shifts gently as it catches the light. At 271gsm and 137cm wide, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 36.5cm vertical repeat and 34.5cm horizontal repeat, although the small-scale surface effect remains visually understated. Its cool blue-green tone gives the cloth a calm, tailored character rather than a bright or highly saturated finish.

How to use it

Pair this cool kingfisher teal with warm natural woods, chalky neutrals or soft grey upholstery for a balanced scheme. It can add quiet colour to a reading chair, roman blind or full-length curtain without overwhelming the room.

Use this cool blue-green teal to bring understated colour and fine woven texture to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
