Spectrum Ruby

Spectrum FabricCCF0227-35

Spectrum Ruby is a deep, saturated red with a softly rippled woven surface. In this close-up, the colour reads as an almost-solid ruby field, with subtle tonal movement where the light catches the weave.

About this fabric

The 271gsm weight and 137cm usable width give Spectrum Ruby a versatile mid-weight handle for both upholstery and drapery. Its rich ruby tone shifts gently between berry-dark and brighter crimson across the fine surface texture, creating depth without a bold visible motif. The supplied pattern repeats measure 36.5cm vertically and 34.5cm horizontally, although this swatch view presents the design as visually near-solid. The standard length is 40m, making this colourway suitable for coordinated larger-scale schemes as well as individual pieces.

How to use it

Use Spectrum Ruby on a statement armchair, dining seat or full-length curtain where its deep red tone can act as a warm focal point. Pair it with aged brass, dark timber or quieter neutral upholstery to balance the saturation.

Use this saturated ruby red to add depth to upholstery, curtains or tailored soft furnishings.

Pairs well with

Spectrum Ruby is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
