Kelso Red

Jasper FabricJ0146-05

Kelso Red brings a layered stripe to the Jasper collection, with deep ruby bands broken by softer earthy notes and fine woven detail. The overall effect is rich and grounded rather than bright, giving the cloth a warm, tailored presence.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in a substantial 142cm width and has a balanced composition of 41% viscose, 21% cotton, 19% linen, 14% polyacrylic and 5% polyester. The stripe design alternates dense red fields with narrower bands of muted taupe and brown, while the small geometric accents add texture without overpowering the pattern. In the swatch, the red reads as a deep wine-ruby tone with a warm undertone, so it feels more refined than vivid. The cloth has enough body and visual texture to suit upholstery well, while the woven structure keeps the design crisp and orderly. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for specification reference.

How to use it

Use Kelso Red on a statement armchair, banquette or footstool where the stripe can run cleanly across the shape. It pairs especially well with aged oak, dark leather and soft neutrals that let the ruby tone stay central.

A rich striped red with warm earthy accents, ideal for adding depth to classic interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kelso Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
