About this fabric

Kelso Pale Blue from the Jasper collection by Jane Churchill is a fabric with a subtle striped layout and a gently textural surface. The palette sits in a cool, misty blue range, softened by greyed neutrals and fine dark accent lines that give the cloth definition without sharpening the overall effect. Its composition of 41% viscose, 21% cotton, 19% linen, 14% polyacrylic and 5% polyester helps explain the slightly crisp yet relaxed handle visible in the weave. With a width of approximately 142cm and a vertical repeat of about 26cm by 8cm horizontally, it is well suited to tailored decorative work where the stripe rhythm can be appreciated.

How to use it

Use this pale blue stripe on relaxed blinds, smart cushions or a neat upholstered armchair to bring a cool, coastal note without looking overly fresh. It pairs especially well with chalky white, putty and bleached oak finishes.

A softly striped blue with enough structure for cushions or curtains alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
