Javalli Stripe Blue
Kansa Stripes FabricJ0232-03
Javalli Stripe Blue combines fine vertical pinstripes with decorative coral-pink stripe columns on a pale blue ground. The effect is fresh and tailored, with a slightly woven, tactile look that keeps the pattern feeling lively rather than stark.

About this fabric
From the Kansa Stripes collection by Jane Churchill, this fabric is woven in 85% cotton, 11% viscose and 4% polyester, with a width of approximately 136cm and a vertical repeat of around 13cm and horizontal repeat of 34cm. The visible palette is a cool duck egg blue softened by ivory, greyed aqua and narrow blush-coral accents, giving the stripe a clean but gently faded finish. The decorative bands introduce a small geometric motif that breaks up the regular pinstripes and adds rhythm across the width. With no performance features noted, it reads as a versatile decorative fabric for both relaxed upholstery and drapery, depending on the room and make-up.
How to use it
Its cool blue ground and coral detailing suit pale woods, painted joinery and linen upholstery, where the stripe can add order without feeling too formal. Use it for a tailored armchair, Roman blind or curtains in a room that needs a fresh, coastal-leaning accent.
Use it to add a crisp, tailored feel with a softer coral accent.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Javalli Stripe Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
