Axel Midnight

Kaleido FabricJ0177-02

Axel Midnight shows a tightly ordered honeycomb motif in layered navy and slate tones. The small-scale pattern feels crisp and architectural, with the darker ground giving the design a tailored, modern edge.

About this fabric

This fabric has a strong, structured look, with the hexagonal pattern reading clearly across the surface in cool midnight blue and muted grey-blue shades. The weave appears compact and slightly textured, which suits the supplied 39% viscose, 32% cotton and 29% polyester composition. At approximately 138cm wide, it is practical for upholstery use, and the small repeat of V 3cm / H 6cm approx gives the design a neat, regular rhythm. The overall effect is dark, restrained and polished rather than bright, making the colourway feel especially grounded.

How to use it

Use this midnight colourway on an armchair, ottoman or dining seats where the small geometric can be appreciated at close range. It pairs well with pale oak, brushed metal and soft grey walls for a sharp, contemporary scheme.

A compact honeycomb pattern in a cool midnight tone that gives seating a crisp, tailored feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
