Kelso Beige/Blue

Jasper FabricJ0146-04

Kelso Beige/Blue pairs quiet beige grounds with soft bands of blue and taupe, giving the stripe a gently weathered, tactile look. The woven pattern reads relaxed rather than crisp, with enough detail to add interest without feeling busy.

About this fabric

This Jasper fabric by Jane Churchill is a 142cm-wide textile with a vertical repeat of approximately 26cm and a horizontal repeat of approximately 8cm, making the stripe feel structured but not rigid. Its composition of 41% viscose, 21% cotton, 19% linen, 14% polyacrylic and 5% polyester helps explain the fabric’s soft handle and lightly textured surface. In this colourway, the beige base is lifted by cool, dusty blue accents and muted taupe detailing, so the overall effect stays calm and understated. The pattern’s fine linear and geometric bands give it a tailored, artisanal feel that sits comfortably in both classic and contemporary rooms.

How to use it

Use Kelso Beige/Blue on a tailored armchair, banquette or Roman blind where the soft blue notes can bring coolness to a warm neutral scheme. It also works well alongside pale oak, oatmeal and brushed metal finishes for a quietly layered interior.

A calm, textured stripe that works well on upholstery or curtains in a layered, neutral scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kelso Beige/Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
