About this fabric

Kline Straw from the Jane Churchill Kline collection is a 140cm approx fabric with no repeat, making its understated surface feel clean and continuous. The composition blends 56% Acrylic, 15% Recycled Polyester, 12% Viscose, 5% Polyester, 4% Acrylic (FR) and 4% Cotton, which helps explain the fabric's smooth handle and the faint, softly diffused sheen visible in the swatch. The colour reads as a pale straw beige rather than a strong yellow, with a warm, creamy depth that stays light without looking stark. It has enough body for upholstery, yet the restrained weave and balanced finish also suit elegant curtains or blinds.

How to use it

Use this straw tone to soften darker woods, putty walls or olive accents, where its warm neutrality will lift the room without drawing attention. It works especially well in layered, tonal schemes that call for a calm base with subtle texture.

A quiet, warm neutral that layers easily with timber, oatmeal and muted metallics.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
