Huxley Natural is a calm, understated neutral with a soft flaxen beige cast and a gently textured plain weave. Its surface reads matte and airy, giving the colourway a quiet warmth rather than a stark white finish.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale beige tone with a subtle linen-like slub that softens the whole surface. Woven in 51% cotton and 49% polyester, it has the balanced feel of a practical decorative fabric rather than a delicate sheer. The design is plain with no visible repeat, so the interest comes from texture and the way the light lifts the warm natural yarns. At approximately 138cm wide, it is well suited to upholstery and drapery projects where a muted, easy neutral is needed. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for specification reference.

How to use it

Use Huxley Natural to soften painted joinery, pale oak and stone tones without introducing a strong colour shift. It works particularly well in relaxed schemes where a warm, textural neutral needs to sit quietly across both cushions and curtains.

A quiet neutral that layers easily with oak, linen and warm white finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
