Huxley Leaf

Huxley FabricJ0294-29

Huxley Leaf is a quietly textured sage green fabric with a softly heathered look. The weave reads natural and understated, with just enough depth to keep the colour from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Huxley Leaf from the Jane Churchill Huxley collection is a fabric with no visible repeat, a width of approximately 138cm, and a composition of 51% cotton and 49% polyester. Its surface has a fine, linen-like texture that softens the soft sage green ground and gives the colour a lightly mottled, lived-in character. The tone sits between green and grey, so it feels calm rather than bright, and the weave catches the light in a gentle, matte way. With care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical choice for interior schemes that want a muted natural colour with a tailored finish.

How to use it

Use this shade on a relaxed armchair, banquette, or curtains where the muted sage can sit quietly beside oak, putty, or stone tones. It also works well as a grounding neutral in rooms with plenty of natural light.

A calm sage tone that works beautifully across upholstery and relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
