Huxley Forest

Huxley FabricJ0294-27

Huxley Forest reads as a calm, softly weathered green with a fine, even weave. Its surface has a gentle linen-like grain that keeps the colour from feeling flat.

About this fabric

This Huxley colourway is a subdued forest green with a cool, slightly misty cast, so it feels more tonal than bright. The plain weave shows a delicate crosshatch texture across the surface, giving the fabric a grounded, textile feel rather than a smooth finish. It is made in a 51% cotton and 49% polyester blend, with an approximate width of 138cm, and there is no repeat to interrupt placement. C 8 + T 3 care and fire code K make it a practical decorative fabric for everyday interiors.

How to use it

Use Huxley Forest on an upholstered chair or sofa where its muted green can sit comfortably alongside oak, walnut, or painted neutrals. It would also bring a soft, natural note to cushions or simple curtains in a room with crisp white walls.

A quietly textural green that works well across upholstery and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
