About this fabric
This Huxley colourway is woven in 51% Cotton and 49% Polyester, giving it a balanced handle that suits versatile interior use. The cloth has a plain, non-directional appearance with no repeat, and the 138cm width makes it practical for a range of furnishing projects. Visually, Cornflower reads as a muted blue with a delicate grey cast, so the tone feels calm rather than bright or sugary. The fine crosswoven texture softens the colour further and gives it a quiet, slightly chalky finish. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Cornflower to bring a cool, breezy note to upholstered chairs, benches or cushions, especially alongside white-painted woods and pale oak. It also works well as a light curtain fabric where its soft blue-grey tone can temper stronger colours in the room.
