Water Meadow Betony Cornflower Flat

SS22 Images - Enchanted Garden, Geometrica, Water Meadow & Portland Fabric

Water Meadow Betony Cornflower Flat pairs a pale ground with airy botanical stems in soft cornflower blue, aqua and muted sage tones. The hand-drawn meadow motif feels light and open, with the pattern sitting gently across the fabric rather than reading as dense or heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a usable width of 141cm and a 46cm horizontal and vertical repeat, making the trailing botanical pattern easy to centre on both upholstery and drapery projects. The visible colourway is cool and delicate, with soft cornflower blues, watery aqua leaves, greyed stems and tiny lilac and gold accents on an off-white ground. Its 20,000 Martindale rating and General Domestic upholstery grade support practical everyday use, while the treatable FR specification adds flexibility for curtains and seating. Better Cotton content gives the cloth a more considered sourcing story without changing its fresh, understated look.

How to use it

This colourway works well in calm, daylight-led interiors, especially where you want pattern without visual weight. Pair it with washed white, pale oak and muted blue-grey fabrics to keep the scheme crisp and botanical.

Use for a fresh, airy scheme where the pale ground and cool blue-green stems keep the room feeling light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
