About this fabric

Woven in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, this 140cm-wide fabric has a practical cotton-rich handle with the durability of polyester. The 32cm vertical and 35.5cm horizontal repeat creates a confident tartan-style check that reads clearly across a sofa, blind or pair of curtains. In this colourway the cornflower blue ground feels airy and lightly faded, while the navy stripes add definition and the narrow yellow-green accents bring a subtle country warmth. The overall effect is fresh rather than dark, with enough structure to suit upholstery but a light enough look for drapery as well.

How to use it

Use Balmoral Cornflower to brighten a relaxed sitting room, pairing its cool blue ground with painted wood, pale oak and natural linen. The cream and navy grid gives it enough contrast to stand out on cushions, window seats or classic armchairs.
