About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is woven in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, with a 140cm width and a 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat. In this colourway the large check sits on a pale grey base, with creamy cross-lines, deeper mushroom stripes and a few faint warm-brown accents that stop it feeling flat. The weave has a neat, cloth-like texture that softens the geometry and gives the plaid a practical, lived-in look. It feels more refined than rustic, making it an easy choice where you want pattern without strong contrast.

How to use it

Use Balmoral Cloud on a tailored armchair, banquette or cushions where the large-scale check can be seen properly. It also suits relaxed curtains or Roman blinds, especially in rooms with pale timber, stone or brushed metal finishes.
