About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and measuring 140cm wide, Katrine FR Charcoal combines a 35cm vertical repeat with a 34.5cm horizontal repeat for a confident tartan scale. The surface reads as a smooth, tightly woven fabric rather than a lofty pile, which helps the check stay crisp and well defined. In this colourway the charcoal ground is broken by pale ivory bands and smaller grey blocks, creating a cool, balanced pattern with strong contrast. It feels smart and understated, with enough clarity in the weave to hold its shape across upholstery or curtains. Care code NQT1< should be checked before cutting and making up.

How to use it

Use this charcoal check to ground a room with pale walls, brushed metal, and walnut or oak finishes. It works especially well where you want a classic tartan note without introducing warmth.
