About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Katrine FR Midas has a versatile 140cm width and a repeat of 35cm vertical by 34.5cm horizontal. The visible surface shows a structured tartan-style check with soft mossy gold blocks, muted brown grounds and darker charcoal crossings. Its colourway feels warm rather than bright, with the gold notes lifted by lighter marl-like stripes and the blackened bands adding definition. The cloth appears suitably weighty for use across both upholstery and drapery, giving the pattern enough presence for cushions, chairs or curtains.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms with oak, walnut or aged brass, where the gold and brown tones feel especially settled. Use it alongside plain taupe, deep olive or warm cream to keep the check looking rich rather than busy.

Layer with warm woods and plain linens to let the check do the talking.
