About this fabric

Katrine FR Indigo from Porter & Stone is a 100% polyester fabric with a 140cm width and a 35cm vertical by 34.5cm horizontal pattern repeat. The woven check combines deep indigo bands with ivory, pale grey and washed blue squares, giving the cloth a sharp but slightly softened palette. Its surface reads as smooth and closely woven rather than bulky, so the pattern feels precise and orderly across the cloth. The dark stripes bring definition, while the lighter blocks keep the overall effect airy and wearable.

How to use it

Use this indigo check on an upholstered armchair, banquette or cushions where the strong grid can add structure without feeling heavy. It also works well in a relaxed country or smart coastal scheme alongside chalk white, pale wood and muted denim blue.

A crisp navy check on a soft ivory ground gives this classic plaid a clean tailored feel.
