About this fabric

This Olander fabric from Colefax and Fowler is 100% linen, with an approximate width of 139cm and a large repeat of V 98cm / H 139cm. The linen ground gives the print a dry, slightly slubby look that keeps the artwork feeling relaxed rather than glossy. In this colourway, the greens sit fresh and leafy while the gold notes stay muted and sun-warmed, with just enough blush and blue in the birds and flowers to lift the design. It has an airy, decorative presence that suits window treatments and statement soft furnishings where the full repeat can be appreciated.

How to use it

Use it for curtains or Roman blinds in a room with painted whites, rattan and pale wood, so the soft gold-green palette stays bright. It also works well with linen upholstery cushions as a layered accent against calm neutral seating.

Pair with natural linens and warm timber to let the airy palm motif feel fresh rather than formal.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Palm Blossom Gold/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
