Olander Blue

Olander FabricF4954-03

Olander Blue pairs a creamy ground with trailing floral medallions in soft blue, aqua and tan. The overall effect is airy and decorative, with enough structure to feel tailored rather than fussy.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a crisp, pale ground set with large scrolling floral motifs in powder blue, aqua, deep cobalt and warm taupe. The print has a fresh, slightly coastal feel, while the tan stems and pale cream details stop the blues from reading too cold. At approximately 134cm wide, the fabric is made in a 46% Polyester, 28% Linen, 26% Cotton blend, giving it a characterful cloth handle that sits neatly within Colefax and Fowler’s decorative fabric range. The repeat is approximately V 79cm / H 66cm, so the design has a generous, statement scale across a curtain drop or upholstered piece. Care code Q 8 + W 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it where the blue tones can breathe: lined curtains, a headboard, or occasional chairs against chalky paint and limed wood. The soft aqua and cobalt accents work especially well with pale oak, brass and other quiet neutrals.

A cool blue floral that brings a fresh, tailored note to curtains or relaxed upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Olander Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
