Durance Aqua

Olney FabricF4950-04

Durance Aqua reads as a quietly washed pale aqua with a cool, misty cast and a subtle horizontal slub in the weave. The surface has the soft, natural look of linen with a gentle, refined sheen from the viscose content.

About this fabric

This Olney colourway has a calm aqua tone that sits between pale blue and soft green, giving the fabric a fresh but restrained look. The close plain weave shows fine horizontal striations and a lightly textured hand, so it feels tailored rather than glossy or flat. With a width of approximately 143cm and a composition of 60% viscose, 18% cotton, 17% linen and 5% acrylic, it offers a useful balance of softness and structure. The zero repeat makes it easy to use on larger upholstered pieces or simple drapery without pattern matching. Its cool, muted finish keeps the colourway airy and easy to pair with chalk white, sand, driftwood and pewter tones.

How to use it

Use Durance Aqua to soften a contemporary sofa, bench or headboard, or hang it as relaxed curtains where the pale blue-green tone can catch the light. It works especially well in rooms with white woodwork, bleached timber and brushed metal finishes.

A soft aqua neutral that works beautifully across relaxed seating and light, airy curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
