About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted red-brown ground with salmon and clay notes, so it reads warm rather than bright. The weave has a lightly textured, slubby look that catches the light in fine horizontal striations across the cloth. At approximately 143cm wide and woven in 60% viscose, 18% cotton, 17% linen and 5% acrylic, it has the balance of softness and structure you expect from a versatile furnishing fabric. The repeat is effectively none, which keeps the colour and texture doing the decorative work. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Its dusty red tone works well with oak, walnut and aged brass, especially in schemes that want warmth without a strong primary red. Use it on a small sofa, dining chairs or relaxed full-length curtains to bring an earthy, settled note into the room.

Use it for relaxed upholstery or curtains where a warm, earthy red is needed.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
