About this fabric

This Olney fabric combines 44% viscose, 25% linen, 22% cotton, 6% acrylic and 3% polyester, giving the cloth a natural-looking handle with a refined, lightly dry texture. The repeat is vertical 0cm / horizontal 0cm approx, so the slender stripe runs cleanly through the full width rather than forming a large pattern. In this colourway the blue sits very quietly against a pale cream ground, with a cool, slightly chalky look rather than a bright contrast. At 144cm wide approx and with fire code √BH, it is practical for a range of decorative applications where a calm striped cloth is needed.

How to use it

Its restrained old blue notes work well with painted timber, pale oak and stone tones, bringing a tailored edge to relaxed interiors. Use it for curtains, cushions or a small-scale upholstered piece where the subtle stripe can lift a room without dominating it.
