About this fabric

This colourway sits in a warm clotted-cream family rather than a stark white, so it feels mellow and inviting in the light. The 100% silk composition gives the surface a fine, luminous handle, while the visible strié and tiny irregularities add depth to the plain ground. With no repeat, the design keeps the focus on the cloth’s texture and on the way the pale tone shifts softly across the width. At approximately 138cm wide, it is well suited to elegant curtains and other decorative applications where the fabric’s sheen can be appreciated.
