Hazebrook Aqua

Olney FabricF4943-05

Hazebrook Aqua shows a tiny, all-over damask-like trail in a soft aqua-green palette. The light ground keeps the pattern airy, while the repeated motif gives it a neat, tailored finish.

About this fabric

This Olney fabric from Colefax and Fowler is woven in a blend of 34% Linen, 28% Viscose, 22% Polyester and 16% Cotton, with a width of approximately 136cm. The repeat is approximately V 25cm and H 18cm, giving the small-scale motif a regular, orderly rhythm across the cloth. In Hazebrook Aqua, the ground reads as a pale, milky aqua with a gentle green cast, while the pattern sits just a touch deeper so it remains visible without looking heavy. The overall effect is fresh and restrained rather than bright, and the surface has the soft, clothy look you expect from a linen-rich fabric.

How to use it

Use it on a bedroom blind, a neat armchair, or small accent cushions where the pale aqua tone can soften darker woods. It pairs especially well with chalky whites, weathered oak and muted sage accents.

A quiet aqua ground with a tiny all-over motif that feels fresh and composed.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hazebrook Aqua without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
