Sumela Coral/Leaf

Oriana FabricF4615-02

Sumela Coral/Leaf has a soft sage ground lifted by coral outlining and pale leafy embroidery. The large floral trail feels airy rather than dense, with the pattern sitting lightly across the cloth.

About this fabric

Woven in a 53% linen and 47% viscose blend, this fabric has a natural-looking base with a smoother, more polished finish in the raised patterning. The 132cm width and repeating design, with a vertical repeat of approximately 77cm and horizontal repeat of approximately 132cm, suit statement curtains or decorative upholstery on larger pieces. In this colourway the sage green ground reads calm and slightly muted, while the coral detailing adds a gentle warmth without becoming bright. Pale cream leaves and soft dotted motifs give the surface a fresh, botanical character that feels light and ordered.

How to use it

Use it on curtains, armchairs or cushions where the sage ground can settle into a room and the coral detailing can be echoed in accents. It works especially well with chalky neutrals, weathered wood and other soft green tones.

Pair with pale timber, linen plains and muted blush accents to let the trail pattern breathe.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sumela Coral/Leaf without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
