Sumela Tomato/Aqua

Oriana FabricF4615-03

Sumela Tomato/Aqua presents a painterly floral on a warm ivory ground, with tomato red outlining and aqua, sage and pale gold filling the petals and leaves. The design feels airy rather than dense, so the motif reads clearly without overpowering the cloth.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in 53% Linen and 47% Viscose, giving the surface a softly refined handle with a slight natural slub visible beneath the print. The pattern repeats at approximately V 77cm and H 132cm, which suits its generous, sweeping floral layout. In this colourway, the tomato edging gives the blossoms a lively warmth, while the aqua notes keep the palette cool and fresh against the cream base. The overall effect is decorative but not heavy, with enough openness in the ground to let the colours sit lightly. Supplied care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are noted for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want colour without darkness: it would lift a sitting room, bedroom or breakfast space with its soft aqua and tomato contrast. Pair it with pale paint, weathered wood or simple neutrals so the floral detail remains the focus.

A fresh large-scale floral that balances soft linen ground with brighter accent colours.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
