Ridgeway Stripe Multi

Sandford FabricF4896-04

Ridgeway Stripe Multi combines a pale ground with fine vertical stripes in terracotta, teal, grey and cream. The effect is crisp but softly aged, with the decorative ladder stripe giving the design a tailored, collected look.

About this fabric

Woven in a 42% viscose, 38% cotton, 16% polyester and 4% linen blend, this fabric has the easy versatility of a mid-weight cloth and a neat 140cm approximate width. The vertical repeat is around 3cm, while the horizontal pattern spacing of about 35cm creates the regular rhythm seen in the swatch. The ground reads as warm ivory-beige, lifted by slim rust-red and teal accents that feel slightly muted rather than bright. Its fine stripe structure gives the surface a tidy, textural finish that works well where you want colour without heaviness.

How to use it

Use this colourway on tailored cushions, dining chairs or a small armchair where the terracotta and teal notes can add interest against timber or stone. It would also sit comfortably at a window, especially in a room with cream walls and relaxed neutral upholstery.

Pair it with plain linens or painted wood to let the narrow multicoloured stripe feel warm and collected.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
