Acantha Tomato/Blue

Oriana FabricF4613-04

Acantha Tomato/Blue presents a large-scale damask with scrolling blue foliage, tomato-red floral bursts and pale ground that keeps the design airy. The overall effect is ornate but fresh, with the red accents lifting the cooler blue patterning.

About this fabric

Woven in a 40% viscose, 35% linen and 25% cotton blend, this fabric has the body and handle of a decorative furnishing cloth with enough substance for either curtains or upholstery. The repeat is approximately V 76cm and H 65cm, giving the design its generous, architectural rhythm across the width. In this colourway, the ground reads as a light cream with a soft stone cast, while the motif mixes powder blue, muted sage, tomato red and touches of blush pink for a lively but balanced finish. The printed or woven detail appears crisp rather than blurred, so the scrolling leaves and small floral sprays keep their definition at close range. With no performance features noted and a fire code of √BM, it is best chosen for interiors where pattern and colour take centre stage.

How to use it

Use it for lined curtains, blind panels or an upholstered accent chair where the tomato red motifs can punctuate a restrained scheme. It works especially well with chalky neutrals, pale wood and brass, letting the blue pattern read clearly against a calm backdrop.

A richly drawn statement cloth that brings colour and pattern to a room without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
