Lewin Multi

Boscombe FabricJ0138-09

Lewin Multi is a finely textured woven colourway with a tight, small-scale pixel-like effect across the surface. Its blend of soft terracotta, slate blue, cream and beige gives it a calm, gently weathered look.

About this fabric

This Boscombe fabric by Jane Churchill is composed of 37% Polyester, 28% Polyacrylic, 19% Viscose, 10% Polyacrylic (FR) and 6% Linen, with a width of approximately 140cm and a vertical/horizontal repeat of 0cm, making the pattern read as a continuous weave rather than a motif. The swatch shows a tightly worked surface where muted terracotta threads sit against cool blue-grey and warm neutral yarns, creating a small, almost check-like texture from a distance. The finish feels tactile and tailored rather than glossy, with the mixed fibres giving it a softly variegated appearance. With no performance features noted and a fire code of K, it is a versatile decorative fabric for upholstery or drapery where a restrained multicoloured weave is wanted.

How to use it

This colourway suits cushions, loose covers or a compact armchair where the muted blue and terracotta notes can add interest without shouting. It will sit especially well with chalky neutrals, aged wood and brushed metal finishes.

Use to add subtle colour and texture without overwhelming a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
